Prior to this, she managed construction and development projects for Jones Lang LaSalle. Tay was an Asset Manager for First Potomac Realty Trust and MTAG Services, managing the acquisition, stabilization and disposition strategy for a portfolio of residential, office and industrial assets. As a Transaction Manager at CBRE, she negotiated real estate transactions for the United States Postal Service, resulting in substantial lease savings. Tay received her Master of Business Administration from the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland College Park. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from American University. Tay serves on the Executive MBA Advisory Council at the Smith School of Business. She is a member of the Baltimore City Chambers of Commerce and the Project Management Institute Baltimore City Chapter.
